If you like looking at railwayana, you might also like to see some other unique things that we can do as well.
One of our staff (Mike) repairs and has made clocks for the last half century, including the ones that you used to see on railway stations (and still can).
Fortunately many of these clocks, time switches and the like still exist, often on preserved railways. They do sometimes need attention, or worse still, have parts missing.
No problem – as our friend
Bob would say – “Can we fix it?” “Yes, we can!”.
Bob does not mention that it won’t take months, either.
We will look at any mechanical or electrical clock and similar equipment, domestic or otherwise, and give you an honest estimate free of charge*.
Our prices are quite reasonable as well – we service our cars regularly, but clocks are forgotten by most of us until they give trouble. That can cost you money! Most clocks ought to be cleaned and overhauled every four years or so, depending on the location.
Every item we service or repair will have a printed, illustrated and bound document sent to you with details of your clock or other item and what was done to it; this will be a valuable reference for you to keep. Two examples of some of the detail
in the document is shown
here.
